Kevin Ridgeway is the author of several chapbooks of poetry and the poetry collection "Too Young to Know" (Stubborn Mule Press). His work has appeared in Slipstream, Chiron Review, Nerve Cowboy, Main Street Rag, Big Hammer, Street Value, The American Journal of Poetry, Lummox and San Pedro River Review, among many others.
The majority of these poems were written in purple crayon at a psychiatric facility in Chino, California, USA. The rest originally appeared in CHIRON REVIEW, STREET VALUE, UP THE RIVER, MISFIT MAGAZINE and UNDERGROUND VOICES MAGAZINE
The Purple Crayon Poems is an A5 saddle stitched pamphlet. Lovingly handmade, hand stamped, and hand numbered. Limited to 25 copies. Printed on an old Canon laser printer we found abandoned at a dump site.
