Perforated by Sirens

Perforated by Sirens is a poetic collaboration between two friends written during the height of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. The book manages to fuse two distinct perspectives, with Mark being in Bristol, England and Danny being in Bergamo, Italy. Bergamo suffered one of the highest pandemic casualty rates in the world.

Mark Anthony Pearce lives and works as a Receptionist in Bristol, South West England. His poetry has been published in University of Essex Poetry Journal, BS Poetry Magazine and online, Inefável, Coronaverses, Winamop, Horror Sleaze Trash, Duane’s PoeTree, Piker Press, Albany Poets, Ten Million Flies, Open Arts Forum & Cacti Fur. Mark’s writing has also featured in ‘Anne Bean: Self Etc’ (Live Art Development Agency and Intellect Books, Autumn 2018)

Danny D. Ford has had poems, illustrations and photography published in various print and online titles including Ancient Heart Magazine, Black listed Magazine, BS Poetry Magazine, Lazybox, Dark Lane Quarterly Collaborative, Bare Hands, Coronaverses & Winamop. ‘The Unfolding Head’ (unfoldinghead.com) is co-founder & compère of Dust Your Broom in Bergamo, Italy, where he lives and works as an English teacher.

A5 saddle stitched chapbook. Lovingly handmade, hand stamped, and hand numbered. Limited to 25 copies. Printed on an old Canon laser printer we found abandoned at a dump site.
